Milestone 2025 Event Notice (at end of this page)
第11届Milestone，将于2025年8月10日，周日上午，举行。
活动内容：在一个300米的环路上，滑行一小时，看小孩能滑多少圈，每积累到一定圈数后（根据小孩的水平而定），可以兑换成一件小礼物，由小孩自己从礼物箱子中挑选，详情可以参考Milestone FAQ https://sites.google.com/site/kidsinlineskateclass/milesstone-faq
活动日期：2025年8月10日，周日上午8:30至11:30，下雨延后，如果当天不能活动，将延期到接下来的某个周日，取决于场地的时间安排。
活动场地：Major Taylor Velodrome, https://indycycloplex.com/。每个报名上场滑行的小朋友都要签Velodrome的liability Waiver，在这里https://indycycloplex.com/waiver 。
报名资格：内部活动，不对外开放。限今年的A, B, C, K,Q组小朋友及成人班，与往年一样，将按平时的成绩，分为不同组。
活动日程安排:
7:15AM 布置场地，架设计圈系统，Canopy，阳伞，摆放发奖品的桌椅
8:00 开始入场，检查waiver是否已签。
8:10 小孩穿轮滑鞋，试滑场地，确认电子学号工作
8:20 紧急撤离演习
8:45 起点点名，强调活动注意事项
9:00 正式开始滑圈
10:00 滑圈结束
10:10 集体照
10:30 发奖品（Milestone2025奖杯，每个人都有）
11:00 志愿者合影，自由活动，清理场地
11:30 解散回家
虽然我们称之为“1小时的活动”，加上前后时间，实际上是一上午的活动，希望家长们计划好时间。
报名截止日期：即日起至2025年6月26日截止。今年的轮滑课/活动报名表上的waiver将自动适用于本次活动，已有学号的，请填写统计表，直接付费（详见，报名费及报名过程）。
主办家家庭：2025年暂时不招募认办家庭，以便让小教练组成员试办。
主办家庭确定日期：暂停主办家庭制一年。
报名费：每个小朋友 $45 ，做为活动经费，属于捐款性质，用于给小孩买礼物，租场费等；如付现金，周日交给Julie Feng；如果用Zelle (原名Quick Pay)付给kidsinlineskating@gmail.com。报名费一概不退，请考虑好再报名。
报名过程：两步：

2)付报名费$45/人。用Zelle (原名Quick Pay)付给kids Inline Skating Inc， kidsinlineskating@gmail.com，如果付现金，请在周日上课时，交给Julie Feng
没有报名的家庭请注意：这个活动是严格按报名人数精确设计的，没有余量，如果想参加，请一定要在截止期内报名。截止日期之后，我们将不再接受报名，更不接受现场报名。也就是说，如果你没有给你家小孩报名，活动当天，请不要带小孩到场。因为大部分工作都要提前一个月准备。
Waiver: 总计两个waiver，一是轮滑课的waiver，如果你已交过，不必再交，二是Velodrome的waiver，自己在网上填，见前面的说明。
成人班报名：与小朋友手续相同。

The 11th Milestone will take place on Sunday morning, August 10, 2025.
Children will skate for one hour on a 300-meter loop, and we’ll count how many laps they complete. After accumulating a certain number of laps (depending on each child’s skill level), they can redeem a small gift, which they will select themselves from a prize box. For more details, refer to the Milestone FAQ.
August 10, 2025 (Sunday), from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Postponed in case of rain. If the event can't be held on that day, it will be rescheduled for a later Sunday depending on venue availability.

This is a private/internal event, not open to the public.
Open to kids in groups A, B, C, K, Q from this year's classes and adult class participants. Just like previous years, participants will be grouped based on their usual performance.
7:15 AM – Set up: build lap counting system, canopy, umbrellas, prize tables/chairs
8:00 AM – Entry begins, check waiver completion
8:10 AM – Kids put on skates and test the track, verify electronic number tags
8:20 AM – Emergency evacuation drill
8:45 AM – Roll call at the starting point, safety briefing
9:00 AM – Official start of lap skating
10:00 AM – End of lap skating
10:10 AM – Group photo
10:30 AM – Prize distribution (every child receives a Milestone 2025 trophy)
11:00 AM – Group photo of volunteers; free activities and cleanup
11:30 AM – Dismissal and return home
Although we refer to this as a “1-hour activity,” with setup and closing, it spans the whole morning. Please plan accordingly.
Now through June 26, 2025.
If you’ve already submitted a waiver with the skating class/activity registration, it will apply to this event.
If your child already has a participant number, fill out the registration sheet and proceed with payment (see below).
For 2025, we will not be recruiting new hosting families to allow the junior coach group to take the lead.
$45 per child, considered a donation to cover event costs such as gifts, and venue rental.

This event is designed precisely based on the number of registered participants. There is no extra capacity.
If you wish your child to participate, you must register before the deadline.
After June 26, no further registrations will be accepted. No on-site registration allowed.
If you arrive without prior registration, you will be asked not to bring your child onto the venue.
If absolutely necessary, as most of the preparation is done a month in advance.

Skating class waiver – if already submitted, no need to submit again
Velodrome waiver – fill out online at https://indycycloplex.com/waiver
